Project Status

HD Mining began construction at the site on June 17, 2024.

HD has rehabilitated the mining equipment, reopened the decline, designed and delivered an elevated work platform, and started dewatering and degassing the underground roadway.

A new hoist house has been constructed, and a monorail system has been purchased and delivered from Europe.

 

Current activities include establishing an electrical substation to support underground operations.

A substantial start request application was submitted to the BC Environmental Assessment Office on October 11, 2024.

​

A 5-year construction phase is currently planned.
